If you are thinking about flying why not take a trial flight.
A trial flight is designed to give your enough time to decide if you enjoy flying without making you stay up in the air for too long. Unlike joy flights you get to fly the aircraft with the guidance of a flight instructor.
The Flight
After completing the pre-flight checks your flight instructor will commence the take-off and on reaching a safe height, after explaining what to do, hand over the flight controls to you.
If you are happy flying you will continue operating as the pilot in control of the aircraft for most of the remaining time in the air.
We provide all required communication equipment including aviation headsets for your flight. All we ask is that you dress comfortably for the day, please don't wear boots (it’s hard to work the foot pedal controls with them on) and bring your sunglasses.
We fly every day of the week, bookings are recommended as we all go home if there is no one booked in.
We have a great selection of aircraft to fly, the Italian made STORCH 450 with it's side-by-side seating, tractor propeller and fully enclosed cockpit. Really it’s an aircraft that’s fun to fly, good visibility and light easy to use flight controls makes learning a lot easier.
Fly Light Sport Aircraft
Enjoy the thrill of taking the flight controls of a sport aircraft with the guidance of an experienced instructor from take-off to landing.
Be shown different manoeuvres. Try your skills at the flight controls. And even enjoy the scenery with your introduction to light sport aircraft.
